President Juichi Yamagiwa met with Dr. Michael Hengartner, president of the University of Zurich on October 5, 2015. President Hengartner was visiting Japan to attend the 12th Annual Meeting of the Science and Technology in Society (STS) forum at the Kyoto International Conference Center. The meeting took place at the Grand Prince Hotel Kyoto, which is located close to the STS forum venue. The two presidents discussed the research areas and themes for international symposium to be held collaboratively by the two universities in the near future.
