A delegation from Sikkim University headed by its vice chancellor, Prof. Tanka Bahadur Subba, visited Kyoto University on May 9, 2017. They met with Dr. Kayo Inaba, Kyoto University’s executive vice-president for gender equality, international affairs, and public relations and Prof. Masao Mitsuyama, director of the Hakubi Center for Advanced Research, to discuss the potential development of academic collaboration between the two universities. The Hakubi Center and Sikkim University held a joint workshop on human sustainability from May 8 to 10, 2017.
