On January 26, 2026, a delegation headed by Executive Vice-President Tetsuo Sawaragi (EVP for research ethics, integrity, code of conduct, and international affairs) and Prof. Eiji Nawata (director, ASEAN Center) visited the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR). During the visit, the delegates met with AIR Group Director Godwin Tang and other A*STAR staff members. After receiving an overview of A*STAR, the delegation discussed the potential for collaboration between A*STAR and Kyoto University, such as exchange programs for early career researchers and students.
