A delegation from the Embassy of France to Japan, headed by H.E. Mr. Thierry Dana, ambassador of France in Japan visited Kyoto University on June 16, 2016. They met with Prof. Shuji Higuchi, CEO of Kyoto University Innovation Capital Co.,Ltd. to discuss society-academia collaboration for innovation.
The delegation was welcomed by President Juichi Yamagiwa, Prof. Kayo Inaba, executive vice-president for gender equality, international affairs, and public relations, and Prof. Fumihiko Matsuda, assistant to the executive vice-president for international affairs. The delegates had lunch together, while discussing various matters relating to collaboration between Japan and France.
