Mr. Ingo Höllein, counselor of the embassy of Germany in Japan and Mr. Johannes Schweizer, senior officer economic affairs of the consulate-general of Germany in Japan visited Kyoto University on August 24, 2016. They met with Prof. Yukari Mitsuhashi, vice-director of the International Strategy Office at the Heidelberg University Office, Kyoto. During the meeting, the delegation was given a presentation about the German-Japanese Universities Alliance (HeKKSaGOn), the Heidelberg University Office Kyoto, and the Kyoto University European Center, Heidelberg Office. Afterwards, Prof. Ryu Abe of the graduate school of engineering introduced his research on nanotechnology.
