A delegation from Peking University headed by President Lin Jianhua visited Kyoto University on October 19, 2016. They met with President Juichi Yamagiwa and discussed the potential development of collaboration between the two universities.
Afterwards, President Lin visited the Institute for Integrated Cell-Material Sciences (iCeMS). Prof. Susumu Kitagawa, director of iCeMS welcomed him and introduced the facilities and research. Prof. Tang Shiqi, vice dean of the School of International Studies met with Prof. Terukazu Morikawa of the Graduate School of Government, and Prof. Zha Hongbin, vice dean of the School of Electronics Engineering and Computer Science met with Prof. Akihiro Yamamoto, dean of the Graduate School of Informatics to exchange ideas about future cooperation respectively.
