A delegation from the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Shanghai, headed by Vice Chairman Li Yuping, visited Kyoto University on February 28, 2019. They met with Dr. Junji Yamamoto, director-general for international strategy, Prof. Shigeki Sakurai and Asst. Prof. Liang Zhao of the Graduate School of Advanced Integrated Studies in Human Survivability (GSAIS), and Assoc. Prof. Liyou Han of the Institute for Liberal Arts and Sciences.
During the meeting, Dr. Yamamoto provided the delegates with an overview of Kyoto University and Prof. Sakurai explained Japan’s current energy policies. The discussions of the meeting focused on the importance of further cooperation between China and Japan.
