A delegation from the Guangdong Province, headed by Mr. Ma Xingrui, the governor of Guangdong, visited Kyoto University on April 7, 2019. After visiting the Center for IPS Cell Research and Application, they met with Prof. Nagahiro Minato, provost and executive vice-president for strategy coordination, research, planning, and hospital administration, Mr. Shinji Asonuma, executive vice-president for industry-government-academia collaboration, and Dr. Fumihiko Matsuda, deputy executive vice-president for international affairs and professor of the Graduate school of Medicine to discuss further research collaboration between Kyoto University and Guangdong Province.
