Mr. Balasubramanian Shyamn, the consul general of India for Osaka-Kobe, visited Kyoto University on March 3, 2020 to discuss the further development of collaboration between Kyoto University and institutions in India. Mr. Shyamn met with President Juichi Yamagiwa, Prof. Kayo Inagaki (executive vice-president for gender equality, international affairs, public relations, and external affairs), Prof. Akira Murakami (dean of the Graduate School of Agriculture), and Mr. Junji Yamamoto (vice-director of the International Strategy Office).
