A delegation from the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in Japan, headed by H.E. Representative Hsieh Chang-ting, visited Kyoto University on June 29, 2021. After visiting the Institute for Integrated Cell-Material Sciences (iCeMS) and the Kyoto University Institute for Advanced Study (KUIAS), they met with President Nagahiro Minato, Prof. Kyoko Inagaki, executive vice-president for gender equality, international affairs, public relations, and external affairs, Prof. Yasuyuki Kono, vice president for international strategy, and Distinguished Prof. Susumu Kitagawa, deputy director-general of KUIAS and director of the Institute for Integrated Cell-Material Sciences (iCeMS) to discuss further research collaboration between Kyoto University and Taiwan.
