Mr. Jules Irrmann, the consul general of France in Japan, visited Kyoto University on July 14, 2021. Mr. Irrmann met with President Nagahiro Minato, Dr. Kyoko Inagaki, executive vice-president for gender equality, international affairs, public relations, and external affairs, and Prof. Yasuyuki Kono, vice-president for international strategy. After congratulating the Consul General on Bastille Day, the discussions focused on the development of academic collaboration between Kyoto University and partners in France.
