Mr. Nikhilesh Giri, consul general of India for Osaka-Kobe and Dr. Usha Dixit, counselor of the Embassy of India, visited Kyoto University on October 28, 2021. They met with Prof. Kyoko Inagaki, executive vice-president for gender equality, international affairs, public relations, and external affairs, and Prof. Yasuyuki Kono, vice-president for international strategy, to discuss the development of Kyoto University’s academic and research collaboration with institutions in India. The delegates also visited the Graduate School of Agriculture, Graduate School of Global Environmental Studies, and Institute for Integrated Cell-Material Sciences (iCeMS) of the Kyoto University Institute for Advanced Study.
