On June 1, 2022, Ms. Janine Pitt, counsellor (education and research) of the Australia Embassy in Japan visited Kyoto University. Ms. Pitt met with Prof. Yasuyuki Kono (vice-president for international strategy) and Prof. Masahiko Egami (vice-president for Education Promotion) to discuss the development of Kyoto University’s academic and research collaboration with institutions in Australia.
