A delegation from the University of Pretoria, headed by its president, Prof. Tawana Kupe, visited Kyoto University on October 3, 2022.
The delegation met with President Nagahiro Minato, Prof. Kyoko Inagaki (executive vice-president for gender equality, international affairs and external affairs), and Prof. Motoki Takahashi (director of the Center for African Area Studies) to discuss the potential for research collaboration and student exchange between the two universities.
