On October 17, 2022, a delegation headed by Dr. Dang Xuan Thanh, vice president of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (VASS) visited Kyoto University. The delegates met with Prof. Kyoko Inagaki (executive vice-president for gender equality, international affairs and external affairs), Prof. Yasuyuki Kono (vice-president for international strategy) and Prof. Masaharu Motokawa (professor in the Kyoto University Museum) to discuss the further development of research collaboration between Kyoto University and the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences.
