A delegation from University of California, San Diego (UCSD), headed by Ms. Miwako Waga, director of international outreach visited Kyoto University on November 9, 2022. Kyoto University and UCSD jointly operate an on-site laboratory in San Diego.
The delegation met with President Nagahiro Minato, Prof. Yasuyuki Kono (vice-president for international strategy), Prof. Kaoru Kitajima (deputy executive vice-president and director of the North American Center), and Prof. Masatoshi Hagiwara (deputy executive vice-president and professor in the Graduate School of Medicine).
