Delegation from University of Turin visits Kyoto University (February 16, 2023)

A delegation from the University of Turin, headed by Prof. Cristina Prandi, deputy rector for hard science research and Prof. Alessandro Vercelli, deputy rector for bio-medical research, visited Kyoto University on February 16, 2023. They were accompanied on their visit by Mr. Marco Prencipe, consul general of Italy in Osaka.

The delegates met with Prof. Norihiro Tokitoh (executive vice-president for research and evaluation) and Prof. Mika Yokoyama (deputy executive vice-president and director of the European Center) to discuss research collaboration and student exchange between the University of Turin and Kyoto University. After the meeting, Prof. Vercelli visited the Graduate School of Medicine to discuss research collaboration with its dean, Dr. Tadashi Isa, and then visited the Institute for the Advanced Study of Human Biology (ASHBi). Prof. Prandi visited the Research Institute for Sustainable Humanosphere (RISH), and then the Institute for Chemical Research (ICR), where she met with its director, Prof. Takashi Aoyama.
