On April 20, 2023, a delegation headed by Dr. Kai Sicks, secretary general of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) visited Kyoto University. The delegates met with Prof. Yasuyuki Kono (vice-president for international strategy) to discuss research collaboration and student exchange with institutions in Germany.
