A delegation from KU Leuven, headed by Prof. Govers Gerard, vice-rector of the Science, Engineering and Technology Group, visited Kyoto University on April 17, 2023.
After being given an overview of the university’s research support, doctoral education, and On-site Laboratory initiative by staff from the Kyoto University Research Administration Center (KURA), Division of Graduate studies, and International Strategy Office, the KU Leuven delegation met with President Nagahiro Minato and Prof. Kyoko Inagaki (executive vice-president for gender equality, international affairs and external affairs) to discuss research collaboration between the two universities. The delegates then split into two groups, with one group visiting the Graduate School of Agriculture and Graduate School of Global Environmental Studies on Yoshida Campus and the other visiting the Graduate School of Engineering on Katsura Campus.
