On May 17, 2023, Mr. Victor J. Almengor C., Consul General of the Republic of Panama in Kobe, visited Kyoto University. He met with Prof. Yasuyuki Kono (vice-president for international strategy) and Prof. Kaoru Kitajima (vice-director of the International Strategy Office and director of the North American Center) to discuss the development of Kyoto University’s academic and research collaboration with institutions in the Republic of Panama.
