President Nagahiro Minato met with Prof. Dr. Christian Schwarzenegger, Vice President for Faculty Affairs and Scientific Information of the University of Zurich, on October 1, 2023. Vice-President Schwarzenegger was visiting Japan to attend the 20th Annual Meeting of the Science and Technology in Society (STS) forum at the Kyoto International Conference Center. Prof. Yasuyuki Kono (vice-president for international strategy) and Prof. Mika Yokoyama (deputy executive vice-president and director of the European Center) also joined the meeting, and the delegates discussed the development of research collaboration between the University of Zurich and Kyoto University.
