On October 2, 2023, a delegation from National Taiwan University headed by President Wen-Chang Chen visited Kyoto University and met with President Nagahiro Minato and Vice-President Yasuyuki Kono (VP for international strategy) to discuss the further development of education and research collaboration between the two institutions.
A signing ceremony was also held to renew the Strategic Partnership Agreement between the two institutions. The renewal of the agreement will facilitate the further promotion and strengthening of research collaboration, and enable the two universities to pursue joint research in new academic fields and increase faculty and student mobility.
