On October 4, 2023, Prof. Kazuo Yamamoto, president of the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) visited Kyoto University. Prof. Yamamoto met with President Nagahiro Minato, Prof. Yasuyuki Kono (vice-president for international strategy), Prof. Junichi Susaki (Graduate School of Engineerinig), Prof. Shigeo Fujii (visiting professor in the Graduate School of Global Environmental Studies and professor emeritus), and Prof. Shinya Echigo (Graduate School of Global Environmental Studies) to discuss the development of research collaboration and student exchange between the Asian Institute of Technology and Kyoto University.
