A delegation from the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), headed by Ms. Shamika N. Sirimanne, director of the division on technology and logistics, visited Kyoto University on October 10, 2023. The delegates met with Prof. Yasuyuki Kono (vice-president for international strategy) to discuss collaboration between UNCTAD and Kyoto University on training researchers from developing countries in science and technology fields.
