A delegation from University of Science and Technology of China visited Kyoto University on May 15, 2024. The delegation was headed by Dr. Gequn Shu, chairman of the university council. They met with Prof. Tetsuo Sawaragi (executive vice-president for research ethics, integrity, code of conduct, and international affairs), Prof. Yasuyuki Kono (vice-president for international strategy) and Associate Prof. Liyou Han of the Institute for Liberal Arts and Sciences to discuss the development of research collaboration and student exchange between University of Science and Technology of China and Kyoto University.
