A delegation from the Shenzhen Standing Committee visited Kyoto University on June 21, 2024. The delegation was headed by Mr. Qing Chen, standing committee member of the Shenzhen Municipal Committee of the CPC and party leadership group member of the Shenzhen Municipal Government. The delegation and also included Mr. Rujin Wang, deputy director-general of the Shenzhen municipal education bureau, and Prof. Xiaohong Zhang, vice-president of Shenzhen University.
The delegates met with Prof. Yasuyuki Kono, vice-president for international strategy, and Associate Prof. Liyou Han of the Institute for Liberal Arts and Sciences to discuss the development of Kyoto University’s academic and research collaboration with institutions in Shenzhen.
