President Nagahiro Minato met with Prof. Yoshihiro Yoneda, president of the Human Frontier Science Program Organization (HFSPO) on October 6, 2024. Prof. Yoneda was attending the 21st Annual Meeting of the Science and Technology in Society (STS) forum at the Kyoto International Conference Center. Prof. Tetsuo Sawaragi (executive vice-president for research ethics, integrity, code of conduct, and international affairs) also joined the meeting, and the delegates discussed the further development of collaboration between the HFSPO and Kyoto University.
