President Nagahiro Minato met with Dr. Antoine Petit, chairman and CEO of the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) on October 6, 2024. Mr. Petit was attending the 21st Annual Meeting of the Science and Technology in Society (STS) forum at the Kyoto International Conference Center. Prof. Tetsuo Sawaragi (executive vice-president for research ethics, integrity, code of conduct, and international affairs) also joined the meeting, and the delegates discussed the further development of Kyoto University’s research collaboration with institutions in France.
