A delegation from the University of Zurich, headed by President Michael Schaepman, visited Kyoto University on October 8, 2024. The delegation met with President Nagahiro Minato, Prof. Tetsuo Sawaragi (executive vice-president for research ethics, integrity, code of conduct, and international affairs), Prof. Mika Yokoyama (deputy executive vice-president and director of the European Center).
The meeting included reports on recent developments at the two universities, a discussion about the joint symposium that will be held at the University of Zurich in 2026, and plans for the further development of collaboration.
