On October 9, 2024, Prof. Gregor Majdič, rector of the University of Ljubljana visited Kyoto University. Prof. Majdič met with Prof. Tetsuo Sawaragi (executive vice-president for research ethics, integrity, code of conduct, and international affairs) and Prof. Yasuyuki Kono (vice-president for international strategy)to discuss research collaboration and student exchange between the University of Ljubljana and Kyoto University.
