A delegation headed by H.E. Wu Jianghao, ambassador of China to Japan, and Mr. Xue Jian, consul general of China in Osaka, visited Kyoto University on November 11, 2024. They met with President Nagahiro Minato, Prof. Tetsuo Sawaragi (executive vice-president for research ethics, integrity, code of conduct, and international affairs), Prof. Yasuyuki Kono (vice-president for international strategy), and Associate Prof. Liyou Han of the Institute for Liberal Arts and Sciences to discuss the development of Kyoto University’s academic and research collaboration with institutions in China.
Afterwards, the ambassador also met some of the Chinese students currently studying at Kyoto University.
