Prof. Arto Maaninen, rector of the University of Oulu, visited Kyoto University on June 5, 2025. Prof. Maaninen met with Prof. Tetsuo Sawaragi (executive vice-president for research ethics, integrity, code of conduct, and international affairs), Prof. Yasuyuki Kono (vice-president for international strategy), and Prof. Mika Yokoyama (deputy executive vice-president and director of the European Center) to discuss the development of research collaboration and student exchange between the University of Oulu and Kyoto University.
