H.E. Mr. Kazuyuki Takeuchi, ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Japan to the Republic of Zambia, visited Kyoto University on June 20, 2025. H.E. Mr. Takeuchi met with Prof. Tetsuo Sawaragi (executive vice-president for research ethics, integrity, code of conduct, and international affairs), Prof. Yasuyuki Kono (vice-president for international strategy), Prof. Juichi Itani (director of the Centre for African Area Studies), and Associate Prof. Hidenori Harada of the Graduate School of Asian and African Area Studies to discuss the development of Kyoto University’s academic and research collaboration with institutions in the Republic of Zambia.
