Dr. Ricmar P. Aquino, Commissioner of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) of the Republic of the Philippines, visited Kyoto University on September 4, 2025, and met with Prof. Tetsuo Sawaragi (executive vice-president for research ethics, integrity, code of conduct, and international affairs), Prof. Shuji Hisano of the Graduate School of Economics, Dr. Taro Sonobe (research administrator) and Ms. Chisato Saito (research administrator) to discuss the development of Kyoto University’s academic and research collaboration with institutions in the Republic of the Philippines.
