A delegation from the University of Chile visited Kyoto University on September 30, 2025. The delegation, which was headed by Rector Rosa Noemi Deves Alessandri, met with President Nagahiro Minato, Prof. Tetsuo Sawaragi (executive vice-president for research ethics, integrity, code of conduct, and international affairs), Prof. Yasuyuki Kono (vice-president for international strategy), Prof. Tomoharu Hori (director of the Disaster Prevention Research Institute) , and Prof. Yoshihiro Ito to discuss the development of research collaboration and student exchange between Kyoto University and universities in Chile.
