A delegation led by Mr. Chandru Appar, consul general of India, Osaka-Kobe, Japan, visited Kyoto University on January 15, 2026. They met with President Nagahiro Minato, Prof. Tetsuo Sawaragi (executive vice-president for research ethics, integrity, code of conduct, and international affairs), Prof. Fuyuki Ishikawa (vice-president for research support and deputy director-general of the Office of Research Acceleration) and Prof. Akira Murakami (dean, Graduate School of Advanced Integrated Studies in Human Survivability) to discuss the development of Kyoto University’s academic and research collaboration with institutions in India.
