On September 20, 2023, a delegation from Kyoto University headed by President Nagahiro Minato and Deputy Executive Vice-President Mika Yokoyama (director of the European Center) visited Heidelberg University in Germany. During the visit they were introduced to Heidelberg’s campus and history by Rector Bernhard Eitel, who also accompanied the delegation to on a visit to Kyoto University’s European Center. Heidelberg University and Kyoto University have mutually established overseas centers on each other’s campuses. The visit served as an opportunity for executive staff of both institutions to discuss research and educational collaboration activities between the two universities.
