A delegation from Kyoto University, headed by Prof. Tetsuo Sawaragi (executive vice-president for research ethics, integrity, code of conduct, and international affairs), visited Academia Sinica on November 19, 2024. The delegation, which included Prof. Yasuyuki Kono (vice-president for international strategy) and Prof. Eiji Nawata (director of the ASEAN Center), met with Vice-President Mei-Yin Chou, Vice-President Tang K. Tang, and Vice-President Shin-Kun Peng. During the meeting, the delegates discussed the development of research collaboration and student exchange between Academia Sinica and Kyoto University.
Afterwards, President James Liao hosted a lunch to further discuss future exchanges.
