On 17th September 2024, Kyoto University ASEAN Center joined a guidance session about Japanese universities at the Newton Sixth Form School, Bangkok, Thailand. This fair was organized by JASSO Thailand Office, and the Embassy of Japan and other four universities also joined this fair to promote the study-in-Japan.
Each institution gave a presentation respectively, and we introduced our international programs (Kyoto iUP and ICP of Civil Engineering) and international exchange programs.
Approximately 50 students joined our presentations and some of them asked questions actively to the staff from the universities they’re interested in, after the presentations.
After the guidance session, the school tour was also conducted, which became a good opportunity for us to learn about this school.
We look forward to welcoming students from the Newton to Kyoto University soon.
