2 delegates, Dr. Taro Sonabe and Ms. Shoko Tsurubo, from Kyoto University ASEAN Center attended the forum on Islam, Civilization and Science (FICAS 2017) which supported by MyKyoto (Kyoto Alumni Association Malaysia) to organize this forum in-conjunction with 2017 Southeast Asian Network Forum Programme at a Glance, at Putrajaya Marriot Hotel, Malaysia on 8 August 2017. The objective of this forum focused on Science and Islam in Modern societies.
In morning session, Prof. Dr. Kayo Inaba, Vice President of Kyoto University, delivered a welcome speech and was a representative to sign the MOU between Universiti Kebangsaan, Malaysia and Kyoto University. Through this fruitful collaboration, it will be giving more educational opportunities to both students and faculty members.
