“Kyoto University showcased a booth at National Science and Technology Fair 2025 at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center from 9th to 17th August 2025. The event was organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation, operated by National Science Museum Thailand.
This year, our booth featured a diverse range of subjects, including;
- Raising the awareness of disaster prevention through activities such as packing an emergency bag or “CROSSROAD” in which you simulate disaster and emergency situations and think what kind of decision you would make under the particular situation (Collaborated with Prof. Yamori from Disaster Prevention Research Institute)
- Introducing the project on STI coordination supported by JAIF
- Presenting the advancement of the smart gas network in the ASEAN region (Collaborated with Yachiyo Engineering Co., Ltd. and Atomis Inc.)
The vibrant atmosphere at our booth buzzed with the energy of those eager to learn, explore, and connect with the fascinating world of science and innovation. We were delighted to see the interest from students, teachers, and families throughout the event.
We welcomed 841 visitors at our booth. A huge thank you to everyone who visited and supported Kyoto University’s booth at this fair.
