Kyoto University European Center Anniversary Events 2024 — A decade of fostering collaboration

10 years have passed since the opening of the Kyoto University European Center in 2014. To celebrate its 10th anniversary, we will hold the following events in Heidelberg.

Through our support of research and education, our center has been committed to acting as a bridge between Kyoto and Europe, between the present and the future, and between time and space.

For this event, we have asked Dr. Yoko Tawada, a writer who has been active in building bridges between Japan and Germany, to give a reading at the event.

Beyond the bridge, researchers from Kyoto University will give lectures on the theme of “symbiosis”.
