A delegation from Nankai University, led by President Gong Ke, visited Kyoto University on November 30, 2015 to discuss potential collaboration between the two institutions in the future. They met with Prof. Kayo Inaba, executive vice-president for gender equality, international affairs, and public relations, Prof. Junichi Mori, director-general of the Organization for the Promotion of International Relations (OPIR), and Dr. Han Liyou, associate professor of OPIR.
