A delegation from the Ministry of Scientific Research and Technology (MSRT) of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, led by secretary general Mr. NDambu Mwalanga Odon, visited Kyoto University on January 20, 2016. They met with President Juichi Yamagiwa, Prof. Takeshi Furuichi of the Primate Research Institute, Prof. Genichi Idani of the Wildlife Research Center, and Dr. Raymond Sinsi Lumbuenamo, a visiting professor at the Primate Research Institute. At the meeting, the participants discussed the promotion of collaborative research.
