A delegation from Universitas Gadjah Mada in Indonesia, headed by Prof. Putu Sudiro, chairman of the professor board, visited Kyoto University on May 10, 2018. They met with Prof. Yasuyuki Kono, vice-president for international strategy, Dr. Mamoru Shibayama, director of the Kyoto University ASEAN Center, Dr. Junji Yamamoto, director-general for international strategy, and several faculty members who have been involved in academic collaboration in the ASEAN region. Following a brief introduction of each university, the participants discussed the further development of collaboration in different research fields, including agriculture, economics, engineering, medicine, law, and education.
