On April 15, 2021, an online meeting was held with the University of Hamburg, one of Kyoto University’s strategic partner institutions. The participants from Kyoto University were President Nagahiro Minato, Executive Vice-President Kyoko Inagaki, Vice-President Yasuyuki Kono, and Deputy Executive Vice-President Mika Yokoyama (director of the European Center). The participants from the University of Hamburg were President Dieter Lenzen, Ms. Courtney Peltzer-Hönicke (head of the Department of International Affairs), and Dr. Ariane Neumann (head of the Department of University Strategy). The discussion focused on plans for further collaboration between the two universities.
