A delegation from the Universität Hamburg, headed by its president, Dr. Hauke Heekeren, visited Kyoto University on October 4, 2022.
The delegation met with President Nagahiro Minato, Prof. Kyoko Inagaki (executive vice-president for gender equality, international affairs and external affairs), Prof. Yasuyuki Kono (vice-president for international strategy), and Prof. Mika Yokoyama (deputy executive vice-president and director of the European Center).
The meeting included reports on recent developments at the two universities, a discussion about the joint symposium that will be held at Universität Hamburg in 2023, as well as plans for the further development of collaboration.
