The delegation met with President Nagahiro Minato, Prof. Kyoko Inagaki (executive vice-president for gender equality, international affairs and external affairs), Prof. Yasuyuki Kono (vice-president for international strategy), Prof. Mika Yokoyama (deputy executive vice-president and director of the European Center), and Prof. Fumihiko Matsuda (Graduate School of Medicine).
The meeting included reports on recent developments at the two universities, a discussion about the joint symposium that will be held at the University of Bordeaux in 2024, as well as plans for the further development of collaboration.
