On June 23–24, 2021, the Japan-UK Research and Education Network for Knowledge Economy Initiatives (RENKEI) held an online health research workshop.
Researchers from the network’s twelve member universities in Japan and the UK participated in the workshop, which featured presentations and panel discussions on the three themes of “Patient Safety,” “Medicine and Informatics,” and “Aging.”
On behalf of Kyoto University, Dr. Hiroshi Kondoh, associate professor at the Kyoto University Hospital, presented his research on the theme of “Aging.” The workshop is anticipated to lead to the development of new research collaboration.
