The Steering Committee Meeting of the Japan-UK Research and Education Network for Knowledge Economy Initiatives (RENKEI) was held online on April 28, 2022. The meeting was attended by representatives of RENKEI’s 12 member institutions in Japan and the UK, as well as representatives from the British Council. Prof. Mika Yokoyama (deputy executive vice-president for gender equality and international affairs and director of the Kyoto University European Center) participated on behalf of Kyoto University.
The agenda of the meeting included the finance report for the 2021 fiscal year, an update on the RENKEI Anniversary Grant Programme, and plans for the event to mark RENKEI’s 10th anniversary in 2022.
